A good spectator crowd watched Brett Bull won both the Fastest Time of Day as well as the Top Six Shootout.

Fastest times for the Formula Libre racing cars were Brett Bull (Van Diemen RF03K, 39.56 seconds), Jim Milliner (OMS 2000M, 41.75), Luke Weiks (Empire 001, 42.22), James Short (Jayton Mk 3, 42.91), Doug Daniels (nutec Formula Libre, 42.77), David Quelch (Homebuilt DPQ03, 43.50), William Short (Jayton Mk 2, 44.02). Close times were recorded by drivers with the smallest engine sizes with Michael Ciccotelli (Gladiator LC500, 46.23) and Ian Rennick (Eliminator LC600, 46.35). Chris Meahan ran a sub 50 second time in his Allman Formula Vee 1200 cc with a 49.61 time.

Quickest of the Sports cars was Ross Mackay in his Williams Sports Racer which included a new class record of 43.22 seconds in the Supersports class followed by Jim Heymer (Farrel L Clubman, 44.87), Terry Sproston (Aussie Race Car, 48.39) with Ben Stevens (Lotus Elise, 48.77).

Fastest of the sedan cars was Scott Anable (BMW, 44.91), Doug Anable (BMW, 44.96), Tyson Cowie (Escort, 47.16), Adrian Purcell (Subaru WRX, 47.38), Brendan Merrick (Datsun 120Y, 47.49), Glenn Anable (BMW, 47.75), Jeff Watson (Honda Civic Type R, 48.74), Phillip Rowen (Renault RS 250, 48.78), Ricahrd Marken (Peugeot, 48.91).
